DESCRIPTION:Three best selling authors share their tips on surviving rejection\, reviews and rewrites. Gill Thompson\, whose fifth novel The Child at the Window\, is out on April 23\, Louise Morrish\, whose third novel\, The Library of War and Peace\, publishes later in 2026\, and Suzanne Goldring\, author of nine historical novels\, will encourage aspiring writers with honest tales of their experiences. Writer Libby Morgan will compère and direct questions from the audience in an entertaining presentation that reveals the truth about the life of a full-time author. \nTickets are on sale from 10am on Monday 12 January 2026 \nBook Tickets \nSuzanne Goldring’s bestselling novels have sold worldwide and been translated into several languages. All of Suzanne’s novels combine a present day narrative with First and Second World War history\, to tell of secrets that surprise and intrigue lovers of vivid and remarkable fiction. Her ninth novel\, HER HUSBAND’S RETURN\, published in October 2025 and revealed the secrets of a house that survived WW11. Suzanne is committed to producing three more books for her publisher Bookouture. \nGill Thompson is the author of five historical fiction novels set in and around World War Two. Her second novel\, ‘The Child on Platform One’ topped the Bookseller magazine’s Heatseekers Chart and appeared in the Wallstreet Journal and USA Today bestseller lists. It has been translated into twelve languages. Gill is a former English lecturer at Alton College and now writes full time. She hosts a creative writing website at www.wordkindling.co.uk \nLouise Morrish is an author\, bookseller\, creative writing tutor\, and historical speaker from Hampshire. She writes stories inspired by the lives of women in the past\, who achieved extraordinary things\, but whom history has forgotten. Her debut novel\, Operation Moonlight\, won the Penguin Random House First Novel competition and was published in 2022. Her second novel\, Women of War\, was published in 2025\, and her third novel\, The Library of War and Peace\, will be published in April 2026. \nLibby Morgan is a former English teacher who is currently working on her third historical fiction novel. After a brief spell in financial journalism as a writer and sub editor she turned to writing fiction. Over the years she has experimented in different genres including sit com\, screenplays and plays\, short stories\, and a comic epistolary novel. She looks forward to interviewing Suzanne\, Lou and Gill again. \n
