Willow Woods is a fantasy and historical fiction author who currently lives in London. She has a close connection with Farnham and attended the local Sixth Form College. Passionate about history, Willow has completed postgraduate degrees in historical research and creative writing. A keen animal enthusiast, she fosters with the RSPCA and currently lives with her husband, their cat Nora, and hamster Baroness (their most recent foster fail!).
In 2018, Willow set-up her own publishing imprint, Aiséirí Publishing, and began her journey as an Indie Author. She published her first novel, Where I Belong, a stand-alone fantasy in December 2018, and the Shadow Courtesan in October 2019. Working as an Indie Author, Willow attends events such as literary festivals and comic cons, features on podcasts giving talks on procrastination, and takes part in panels.
Willow is currently working on several projects, including what she hopes will be her first epic fantasy series. While not writing, Willow enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons, archery, and taking part in a 12th century historical re-enactment group.
