Local historian Roy Waight presents an illustrated talk on the life and times of William Tyndale (1494-1536), who made a collection of translations of the Bible into Early Modern English,  based directly on the Greek and Hebrew texts of the Bible. Tyndale’s work is considered a landmark in the history of the English Bible.
