All short-listed entrants are invited to attend this event where the winners will be announced. Long-listed entrants are also welcome to attend to meet the judges.

B.A.Paris, the New York Times and Sunday Times best-selling author and sponsor of The Paris Prize, will present the first prize in person. She said, ‘Writing competitions play an important role in building a debut writer’s confidence and I hope that by sponsoring this significant prize, we will uncover some exciting new talent.’

FARNHAM FIRST FIVE PAGES – WRITING COMPETITION

Now a significant competition in the literary world with the sponsorship of a £1,000 first prize from best-selling author B.A.Paris, this event has attracted entries world-wide in the two years since its inception. Entries are judged by established authors and creative writing experts. Competitions of this nature help enormously to build the confidence and experience of new unpublished authors of fiction. All short-listed works will have the opportunity to be published on the Farnham Literary Festival website.
