Welcome to the world of UK-based comics writer and illustrator Neill Cameron, creator of the Mega Robo Bros graphic novel series, How to Make Awesome Comics and author of the Awesome Robot Chronicles novel series. He is also the author/illustrator of Freddy vs School; Freddy and the New Kid and Freddy the Superstar – Freddy vs School was shortlisted for the Lollies Book Awards. Neill’s comics appear regularly in The Phoenix the weekly story comic. He lives in Oxford where he works closely with, and runs comic clubs at, The Story Museum.

Neill joins us at Blue Bear Bookshop for the Farnham Literary Festival, with his How to Make (Awesome) Comics! Workshop. For an hour and a half Neil will help participants learn how to come up with their own (awesome) concepts and show them how to use those ideas to create their own comic story.

Suitable for ages 6 to 12 years, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
