Imaginary Landscapes is a special event featuring the hugely popular collaboration of leading poet, author and raconteur, Chris Tutton, with multi award-winning Belgian harpist, Lise Vandersmissen.

Chris Tutton is the critically acclaimed and award-winning author of eight collections of poetry, his most recent being ‘Short Chapters From Sunset’ published in 2023. Coined by Ned Sherrin as “the master of the short poem” his work has also been described as “absolutely beautiful” by Alexander Waugh with Iain Anderson of BBC Scotland noting that it was “philosophy in poetry form and the Sunday Times commenting on its “dramatic passion and dignity”

Multi prize-winning Belgian Harpist, Lise Vandersmissen performs throughout Europe and Asia and is one of the young artists at Klara Radio, the main classical radio station in Belgium. She is a recipient of the Guildhall Prize and has also received the Culture Prize in Bilzen. In 2019 she gave the world premiere of Mark-Anthony Turnage’s new piece for solo harp, ‘Four Meditations’ which was dedicated to her and her second solo album, ‘TRE’ was released in August 2024
