Three best selling authors with collective sales of over a million copies, share their tips on writing, submitting and beating the slush pile. Gill Thompson, author of four novels, including The Child on Platform One, Louise Morrish, winner of the Penguin Random House First Novel competition, whose second novel Women of War is out on March 27th,, and Suzanne Goldring, author of eight historical novels, will advise and encourage aspiring writers with tales of their experiences. Writer Libby Morgan will compere and direct questions from the audience. All ticketholders will be receive free handouts on how to write a submission letter as well as examples of elevator pitches for some of the three authors books.
