The Farnham Theatre Association has launched a Playwriting Competition, aiming to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to tell their stories and to stimulate new work for the stage.
Submissions for short plays are invited and will be read by a panel of three theatre professionals.
Three finalists will be selected and their plays will be given a public read-through by professional actors at the 2027 Farnham Literary Festival.
The winner will be chosen by audience vote and awarded a cash prize of £100.
Submissions close on Thursday 31 January 2027.
£10 entry fee.
